A coating is a sacrificial layer bonded to the surface — it takes the UV, the bird droppings and the wash marring so the paint underneath does not. GlossWorks works with Titan Coatings, and every pack is applied by Kent, not handed to a crew.

Five stages.
No shortcuts.
One car in the bay at a time. Nothing gets polished over dirt, and nothing gets coated before the paint has been read properly.
Booked by appointment — the bay is only ever working on one car.

Appraisal
Kent walks the car with you, reads paint depth across the panels and tells you straight what the paint will and will not give back. This is where the real number comes from.

Shake & bake wash
The workshop's pre-wash routine: road film, iron and tar lifted first, then clay. It is the stage most cars skip, and the reason most cars come back with swirls.
Decontamination03
Correction
Machine correction to take out wash marks, swirls and the dullness that hides the colour. The depth in a finished car comes from this stage, not from the coating.

Coating
Titan Coating applied panel by panel, flashed and levelled, with the car sitting in a closed bay between stages. No dust, no shortcuts, no panel skipped.

Cure & handover
Left to cure, inspected under light, then handed back with aftercare notes for the first wash. What you do in the first fortnight decides how the coating ages.

Do I need an appointment?
Yes — appointment only. The bay takes one car at a time, so nothing gets rushed and nothing sits waiting while another job is finished.
Where is the workshop?
Harlaxton, Toowoomba QLD 4350. The street address is confirmed when you book, because the workshop is not a shopfront you can drop into.
How long is the car with you?
Roughly a day for a paint-only coating, two for a full exterior, three for full in/out. Paint correction adds time, and how much depends on what the paint needs.
What is the shake & bake wash?
It is the workshop's own name for its pre-wash stage — the part that lifts road film, iron and tar before anything touches the paint. Kent will walk you through it when the car is in.
Can I book paint correction without a coating?
Yes. Correction can be booked on its own and is quoted after an appraisal, because the price depends on how much paint has to come off to get the finish back.
